Maybe "dear god, please bring us more immigrants so there are fewer people like THAT around..."?

Someone should have carried a sign that said "make all Americans learn how to spell".

Wow, that is bad spelling. I take it she meant "Make English - America's a fickle language"?

Not until you learn how to use it.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but it appears that the apostrophe in "America's" might have been added as an afterthought as well (black vs. blue).

"GET A BRAIN. MORANS" is still my favorite variation on that kind of idiocy. :-D

I just wish the standards for NATIVE SPEAKERS in this country were higher!!

Glad to see we have reduced this comment space into a place for cheep shots at dyslexia. It's sad too see this type of ignorance and disability-phobia here. The comments are almost as sad as the photograph.

You know, I'm going to stick my neck out a little bit and reject the dyslexia argument. I mean, if she IS dyslexic, so are all her sign-waving friends, none of whom apparently noticed the error.

Is it politically incorrect to suggest that dumb people can't spell?

(My apologies to dumb people who may be offended.)

My comment was not about polictical correctness or glossing over truth with superficial, sugary language. I was talking about taking cheep shots at people (whether through poster board signs or blog comments). It's about not sinking to a certain level because at some point, it turns you into something that is vicious and cruel.

I suppose. I guess I just don't see it.

Hahaha. Yes, add an I.

@su: Apparently no one ever taught you to mind your own business. We (the disabled) can speak for ourselves, thank you.

Hi HelloKat:

I am disabled. Also, this is a public blog where many people have commented (including yourself).

Please do not send flames.

Thanks,
Susan

@Su...Cheep is spelled cheap.
Just so you know.
Also, I don't care about your "disabled" credentials at all. This picture is hilarious and that isn't because the idiots in said picture are dyslexic. It is funny because they are idiots. Not because they are disabled. Even if the misspelling is due to dyslexia, which I am 99% sure is not the case, they are still idiots due to the event they made the sign for to begin with. Just my piece.
