He was looking for Jenna Bush's book (really...he's trying to get her to do a PR thing for a charity I think) so he asked about The Monster. He found me looking at new nonfiction. He was holding Jenna's book. "They had one copy of 'Schuyler's Monster'," he said. But they sold it.<BR/><BR/>Hey, we are all doing our part to create buzz! I looked in the Parenting section and it doesn't seem to be there".<BR/><BR/>Customer Service Lady #1 (typing at computer): "Hmm...No, we don't have any in this store right now...But I'm surprised we don't have this book in, I've heard great things about it and I just saw the article in 'People', it looks really fascinating..."<BR/><BR/>Customer Service Lady #2 (peering over CSL1's shoulder): "Hmm, that's not how I would spell her name; you must be familiar with the book title."<BR/><BR/>CSL#1: "Yes, because three people have come in since the beginning of the week asking for it. I had to special-order your book, so I'm hoping that it will get to me in 3-4 business days. I was advised that his book was 'likely in the store' in Parenting. I found it upstairs in that section all right, three copies. I still haven't bought one but I flipped it open to a page that mentioned Tracy. Later I wondered why I haven't bought one and I'm waiting for the signing next Sunday.
